Well !tell me what you think about this I don't enough about it yet.

Post 2 by rdfreak (THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE-BLUE KANGA-KICKIN AUSIE) on Wednesday, 23-Aug-2006 0:24:17

um, might you mean "banning" as oppose to "banding"?

Post 3 by feather winged pony (Generic Zoner) on Wednesday, 23-Aug-2006 1:06:36

yes

Post 4 by HauntedReverie (doing the bad mango) on Wednesday, 23-Aug-2006 5:35:52

um, and what exactly do you mean by this topic? *looks confused

Post 5 by Blue Velvet (I've got the platinum golden silver bronze poster award.) on Wednesday, 23-Aug-2006 8:11:30

Are you asking us what we think of banning people from the site? Your question isn't real clear.

Post 6 by wildebrew (We promised the world we'd tame it, what were we hoping for?) on Wednesday, 23-Aug-2006 9:24:54

I've hear they are going to band all those zonerrs who make to manny typoses and gramatical mistakeses.
I heards that meself, oops, will I be the first one to went from this site than if I be band, and what type of band would that be, jazz, rock or classical, will I need a band aid, I might if this band is heavy metal, then again heavy metals include gold and led so I might be rich and poisonned, aah, the wonder of the boreds. ;)

Post 7 by Goblin (I have proven to myself and the world that I need mental help) on Wednesday, 23-Aug-2006 9:31:00

Its pointless on here as those who have had their accounts disabled have rejoined the site under a different name .

Post 8 by Harp (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Wednesday, 23-Aug-2006 9:32:11

Will I have to ban myself indeed if I confess that my first thought when reading this dribble was, "Yet more proof that stupidity reigns supreme"?

Post 9 by wildebrew (We promised the world we'd tame it, what were we hoping for?) on Wednesday, 23-Aug-2006 9:49:53

Supreme indeed. If this is the "blind culture" I certainly refuse to acknowledge it.

Post 10 by blbobby (Ooo you're gona like this!) on Wednesday, 23-Aug-2006 9:50:11

Come on guys, this is a relatively new zoner, give her a break.

As far as I know, there are no plans for banning (or banding) other zoners except for things spelled out in the terms of service agreement we all signed and few of us read.

Except, of course, wildebrew who used to spell raelly goot in another incarnation might be banned in this incarnation.

Oh yes, perhaps harp is going to ban himself publicly just to see what it feels like. Right Harp?

Okay, back to the usual dribble.

Bob

Post 11 by wildebrew (We promised the world we'd tame it, what were we hoping for?) on Wednesday, 23-Aug-2006 9:57:31

I shall not be banded no plees plees, I don't want to be band from this sight.

Post 12 by feather winged pony (Generic Zoner) on Wednesday, 23-Aug-2006 23:35:51

I didn't know i could look at what I wrote now I know. And fuck you to the ones that think they are better then me and thank you to the one who wants to give me a break . But you know What goes around comes around and you will get yours in the end. I am a good sport so keep giving me a hard time and if you don't like me then you can S U C K M Y D I C K your friend Mary I never said I was perfect.

Post 13 by blbobby (Ooo you're gona like this!) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 0:14:34

Woe, hang on for a second. Welcome to the board. Don't lose your temper or your cool, because, if you do you become fresh meat for the slotter.

We here have fun, and occasionally (well more often than that) it's at someone else's expense. Today it's your turn, tomorrow it may be mine. But, if a topic ever quits being fun, just don't read it.

Just a little advice from someone who's experienced both ends of the fun.

Now, about that band... what kind of music do they play?

Bob

Post 14 by Goblin (I have proven to myself and the world that I need mental help) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 7:45:07

How mature eh? that was typical of the childish, purile responses, I've come to expect here, when people fail to get the answer they so badly needed and needed to hear.

Post 15 by Harp (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 9:58:47

Seriously, what is wrong with the people on this site? The moment they read something that doesn't 100% agree with what they think they start in with all the bad language that they can think of. Whatever happened to the well honed, well thought out response?

I mean I could sit here now and say "Well fuck you Mary you stupid fucking bitch!" and go on and on in that vain for several lines however, personally I don't happen to think that either appropriate or even especially clever.

Far more clever would be to ask why, as an apparent woman, do you have a dick to offer for sucking? That I find odd. Oops, there I go bating again.

Bad bad community leader.

Dan.

Ms. Monkeydoo,

Post 17 by Grace (I've now got the ggold prolific poster award! wahoo! well done to me!) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 10:20:49

Mary,

Post 18 by Harp (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 10:37:05

Two things Connie. As I explained to you at the time. I thought you were joking with me hense the flippent nature of my response to that post. If I had realized that it were a serious request I'd have done what ever I could to resolve the issue though as I also told you at the time, as it happened I didn't know how to sort your problem out anyway. I recall that it was Kai who eventually came to your rescue.

I think that by now many users on here will attest to the fact that if I am asked a serious question then I will do all in my powers to answer it for them, and if I'm unable to do so, I will make sure that I get an answer from somebody who can help.

This however wasn't a question. None of it made sense and I see no reason as a community leader why I shouldn't say so if I feel that to be the case.

Yes I am a community leader on this site and I do take that roll seriously. At the same time I am just a regular user like everybody else and I'm not going to completely curb the way I naturally am just to suit everybody else.

This topic is dribble and that's my genuine opinion.

Thank you. Dan.

Dan,

Post 21 by Harp (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 11:09:08

She agreed to the terms of service when she signed up. In there are all the rules. If she isn't aware of them at this stage she only has herself to blame.

As for the question itself well done you for figuring it out because frankly, I had no clue, I wasn't the only one either.

Dan.

Post 22 by Blue Velvet (I've got the platinum golden silver bronze poster award.) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 11:26:15

And just in case Mary is not aware of this, now that I finally understand her question, there is a link at the bottom of the home page for rereading the terms of this site. Those will tell you what constitute being banned.

Post 23 by Grace (I've now got the ggold prolific poster award! wahoo! well done to me!) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 11:37:57

…well now if it isn’t Ms. Buckeye Cat to the rescue now…

Post 24 by wildebrew (We promised the world we'd tame it, what were we hoping for?) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 11:45:11

Aah, now speaking of mature. Here is a little post I gracefully received from the monkey doo entitled reply. Let me first state that I will not make it a habit to post messages I get on the boards since that seems rather silly and I'm sure a lot of them are not intended to be viewed by others but I thought this one might lighten up your day, message reads:
"
I think you are a dick head I am at the computer and at least I was tring I heard something I didn't understand all I wanted was information so you think
you are some kind of big fucking shot Well I think you are about 2inches tall and you would not be worth me stepping on kiss my ass freak"
Now, I appreciate the centiment and almost feel tempted to apologize to said user if I hurt her feelings by making fun of her spelling, even if my spelling has been made fun of by others, as much to my delight as to theirs and, frankly, if a user cannot be bothered to check the spelling of the subject of his/her own post, not to mention to form a gramatically correct question containing some sort of thought, I think I am fully correct to point out such a fact.
Now, it does beg the question though, if I am only 2 inches tall, how in the world do I go about typing, not to mention, how can I be tall enough to place me lips on that person's behind which, even if she is not very tall, must be at least a foot of the ground.
I will certainly appreciate suggestions or, perhaps, a ladder from helping zoners.
In my experience, I think Harp has done a tremendously good job as a CL so far and have heard comments in that area from users, which is definitely unusual for CLs on here (not that I am bad mouthing any of them, this isjust the first time I've heard users go out of their way to compliment them, personally I appreciate all of their efforts).
If there was a misunderstanding between him and grace I woul hope they can resolve that without raising further disputes. Oh graceful, thy user name is changed automatically on all posts once thee changed it so thy does not have to worry that confusion arises from such an activity, thanks to the wonders of the computer age and database usage.
Cheers

Post 25 by wildebrew (We promised the world we'd tame it, what were we hoping for?) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 11:52:27

OH and BlBobby, I'm not sure if we're talking a marching band or just a good old r&b DJ, the musical direction of the collective zoners is rather diverse.

Post 26 by Grace (I've now got the ggold prolific poster award! wahoo! well done to me!) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 11:59:33

BUGGER OFF! Wildebrew as Mr. Dan and myself have not a squabble in these the present moments.

Post 27 by wildebrew (We promised the world we'd tame it, what were we hoping for?) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 12:02:50

Hehe, I fel the lov, as some would say. Grace, certainly I was not implying that you were at fault, merely expressing regret and surprise that such misunderstanding and hostilbe post exchanges had occurred and, again, how does one bugger off exactly, especially when one is merely two inch tall?

Post 28 by Blue Velvet (I've got the platinum golden silver bronze poster award.) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 12:43:02

Wildebrew: I just couldn't make myself stay out of this one, try as I might. It was you who suggested I post the qn exchanges between myself and another person with a rather nasty and rather limited vocabulary after she attacked me with insulting qn's because of my response to her board post, so why are you saying you think it is silly for you to do so?

Secondly, about your being two inches tall? Perhaps she was just referring to a certain part of your anatomy? (grin, JK, you know I love ya even if you do have only a 2-inch...thumb?)

Post 29 by wildebrew (We promised the world we'd tame it, what were we hoping for?) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 12:46:18

Hehe, oh Becky, the size of the thumb does not matter .. it's the girth. Even with only two inches you can still "nail it".
.. or something <grin>.
No, I just realized that if we all started posting the verbally abusive and stupid messages we recieve as feedback for our board posts it would start looking rather dull and silly. Doing that once is ok but I realized I didn't want to start up a trend, that's all.
Cheers

Post 30 by blbobby (Ooo you're gona like this!) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 15:21:05

Since we're cutting and pasteing here in an earlier post Wildebrew said, "OH and BlBobby, I'm not sure if we're talking a marching band or just a good old r&b DJ, the musical direction of the collective zoners is rather diverse." Now, frankly, I have never heard such a nonanswer before.

I will give you credit as some people say you have small parts (if you're two inches tall, how could it be otherwise?) and don't try to play the girth card, that too is a nonanswer.
I'm sure that it says something about banding zoners who will not give a straight answer in the terms of endearment (or whatever they are called) dribble we have to sign to become happy productive members of this madhouse.

I'm not even going to address the fight between Connie or Grace and Harp (or is it three people fighting)? I just love to watch a good scrap. And BuckToothed Cat, what are you doing here?

Okay, now I'll go do something less productive.

boB

So, how about the straight story, what kind of band is it?

Post 31 by Blue Velvet (I've got the platinum golden silver bronze poster award.) on Thursday, 24-Aug-2006 17:27:01

Buck toothed cat? I'll get you for that. You won't see it coming either; well of course you won't because you're blind. And speaking of small parts...

well, I have come to the conclusion that if no topic is started about you, and there is no request to have you banned, around here, you're doing great. So actually I'm doing greater on the site here than i thought I was.
